The Southwest Research & Design Institute of the Chemical Industry (SWRDICI), which was founded in 1958, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the China Haohua Chemical (Group) Corp and a key Ministry of Chemical Industry R&D institute engaged in scientific research, technological development, engineering design, project contracts

1958,The Chemical Industry's Southwest Research & Design Institute is established under Ministry of Chemical Industry auspices, in September, at 8 Zhongxi Shuncheng St, Chengdu, Sichuan province, to do research on the comprehensive utilization of natural gas chemicals.
