Recently, the SWRDICI had been recognized as National Enterprise Technology Center from" Circular on the Release of the List of New Recognition and All National Enterprise Technology Centers for the Period 2017-2018 (Batch 24) ” (No. 1000 of 2018 by FGGJ) published together by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology and Finance Ministry, etc. .
As an innovation pioneer on chemical industry of China, the SWRDICI played a leading role in field of C1 chemistry and gas separation technology. For more than 60 years, with the goals of leading tech-progress of chemical industry, developing technologies with independent intellectual property rights and breaking monopoly, the SWRDICI devoted herself to research and technology commercialization, and then has initiated key technological fields such as C1 chemistry and PSA. During these years, technologies with independent intellectual property rights were developed, an excellent management system on innovation was constructed, state-level innovation platforms and teams were built, and foreign technology monopoly on some technologies were broken. Up till now, the SWRDICI has completed several hundreds of National Key Science and Technology Planning Projects, so there were a lot of accumulation on technologies, engineering, commercialization, all of which were transformed to productivity, which led the progress on energy reforming and resource utilization, promoted industry upgrading of chemicals, energy, resource and environmental protection, etc., and boosted the industry development on energy-saving, environmental protection and advanced materials.
In recent years, facing on national great demand of involved industry, the SWRDICI kept on exploring new research fields, optimizing business layout, perfecting innovation platform, adding support to innovation and inspiring researchers by investing larger budget and human resources, as the result, eminent technological and commercial achievements had been gained.
The National Enterprise Technology Center was the 11th state level research platform granted for the SWRDICI after the followings: National Research Center of Carbon-Chemical Engineering Technology, National Center for Research and Popularization of Pressure Swing Adsorption Gas Separation Technology, State Key Laboratory for Industry Vent Gas Reuse, National Technical Committee for Gas Standardization, National Technical Committee for Standardization of Coal Chemical Industry, National High-tech Enterprises, National Innovative Pilot Enterprises, National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprises, National Patent Operating Pilot Enterprises, National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprises. The National Enterprise Technology Center affiliated to the SWRDCI should enhance self-innovation and service abilities to meet the demand of market and relevant industries so as to play a leading and supporting role in industrial and economic development.
