On 22nd to 23rd April, SWRCHEM invited Mr. Li Xinxin and Mr. Deng Minghua from Chengdu Publicity Center of Social Safety & Fire Prevention to her lecture room to deliver a lecture themed “Away from Fire” to enhance her staff’s knowledge and awareness of fire safety. More than 170 staff attended the lecture.
The lecture mainly concerns two aspects; fire safety in public and in residence. In the lecture, a lot of cases and video data have been used to tell attendees how to identify hidden danger, to prevent fire disaster and to escape from fire scene. In addition, the lecturers also showed us how to use fire extinguisher.
Attendees has referred” this lecture is close to daily life, and through it we get a lot of knowledge and aware the importance of fire safety. We will take use of what we learn from this lecture to our daily work and life correctly to protect the life and property safety of others and ourselves effectively.
In recent years, SWRCHEM has been continuously strengthening safety education via her website, Bulletin, weekly on-spot safety inspection and irregular lectures in order to enhance staff’s fire safety awareness and ensure no accident on fire safety.
