SWRCHEM was awarded as an advanced enterprise on patent of Chemchina on year of 2014 once again 4 years after she got the title on 2010.
For several years, SWRCHEM has been vigorously performing intellectual property work with patent as core and got eminent achievements. An intellectual property management system covering patent creation, application, protection and management, has been built and executed. SWRCHEM has already carried out “intellectual property management standard for enterprises” (GB/T 29490-2013). Furthermore, in order to promote patented technologies and get competitive advantages, SWRCHEM has been performing data analysis on concerned patents and tracking technological development and patent portfolio of her trade. SWRCHEM also has been actively preformed patent portfolio by structuring core patents or patents package to form her own advantage on key technological field. Between 2012 and 2014, 115 pieces of patents was applied of which 106 piece was invention patents and 61 pieces were granted of which 54 pieces were invention patents. WRCHEM will continue her strategy of patent commercialization turning patents to productivity by implementing patents or patents licensing. Between 2012 and 2014, more than 20 commercial plants of COG to SNG, ethylene glycol synthesis, acetic acid hydrogenation to ethanol were built via patent licensing, which helped to upgrade the industries concerned and promoted the strategic emerging industries of energy-saving and environment protection
SWRCHEM was granted as one of the first batch of national intellectual property demonstration enterprises as well as the first batch of national patent pilot enterprises.
Patent award of Chemchina, set up in 2010, is to encourage invention and innovation, and to promote development and commercialization of patented technologies as well.
