It is reported from the Southwest Research & Design Institute of Chemical Engineering CO., Ltd affiliated by the Secretariat of National Gas Standardization Technology Committee that the 2017 National Gas Standardization Joint Conference was held on September 17-19 in Yinchuan, Ningxia Province. 155 deputies from the Committee including leaders and all members, representatives from standard drafting units, related universities, institutions and companies in gas industry participated in the conference.
The conference reviewed two national standard drafts namely Standards on Carbon Monoxide and Quality Guarantee Guidelines of Gas Analysis Online Automatic Measurement System and solicited suggestions on the formulation and revision of 4 national standards including General Norms on Gas Analysis Calibration Methods. Experts held that all revised items have been more scientific, rational, operational and up to international standards.
At the meeting, the Secretariat reported ISL/TC 158 updates and international standards to leaders and representatives at present, solicited opinions on revisions of “Gas Standard System in the 13th Five Year Plan” and discussed proposed amendments in 2018. The meeting also deliberated work report of Gas Standardization Committee in 2017 and plans in 2018, briefed updated Website of China Gas Standardization Committee and awarded advanced units. Trainings and seminar of exchanges on papers and technology were also held in the conference.
