April 18, SWRDICI successfully passed the inspection for “Enterprise Intellectual Property Management Specification” carried by an audit team from Zhongzhi (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhongzhi Company”). Zhongzhi Company made a final evaluation of “recommended to maintain certification”to SWRDICI.
The audit team reviewed intellectual property related processes and activities of the SWRDICI’s intellectual property management office, research and development department, production and operation office, administration office and other departments through review of system operation documentation, on-site observation and face-to-face interview. The efforts made and the achievements obtained by SWRDICI in the last year in continuous implementation of the “Enterprise Intellectual Property Management System Specification”, the promotion of intellectual property awareness, resource allocation and optimization have been highly praised.
As the first national intellectual property management standard of our country, “GB / T29490-2013” is the prerequisite of enterprises declaring patent and other science and technology projects and a basic condition for the work of intellectual property. Implementation of such standards improves the intangible value of an enterprise and helps with asset operations such as financing, investment, mergers, acquisitions and etc.
The leadership and internal auditors of various departments listened carefully to the audit team's review of the system and suggestions for improvement. Wang Xiaodong, deputy manager and manager of intellectual property management system of SWRDICI commented that this audit was not only an oversight of the work of our company's intellectual property management system, but also an effective promotion of our work in intellectual property management. Through efficient operation of the management system, the integration of intellectual property management with product development, production, as well as daily operation of the company will be further strengthened. Through rectification of the non compliance points found during the audit, it is necessary to comprehensively promote the intellectual property management system, enhance the management and innovation capability of intellectual property work in our institution and continuously enhance the core competitiveness of our institution.
