In 2016, guided by the implementation of intellectual property strategy and patent operation, the SWRDICI persisted in strengthening management on innovation and intellectual property , increasing self –innovation ability , and promoting patent commercialized , and then got remarkable achievements. 3 prizes have been granted including " Advanced Enterprise of Patent Management of Chemchina".
Firstly, the SWRDICI won "Advanced Enterprise of Patent Management of Chemchina", which was awarded by Chemchina for the third time since 2010. In 2016, 50 pieces patents ( of which 48 pieces are inventive patents) have been applied and 27 patents (of which 48 pieces are inventive patents ) have been granted. Secondly, one of SWRDICI’s technology“ The Development and Application of Methanation Catalyst for Coke Oven Gas Nature Gas”won scientific and technological special award from Chemchina. Among the technology, 10 pieces of inventive patents have been applied ( of which 7 pieces have been authorized ). Thirdly, the SWRDICI has passed re-evaluation of State Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise .
The SWRDICI continuously implements management and mechanism reform to stimulate innovation vitality, to exert full influence of intellectual property right management to innovation , so as to speed up the development of patented technologies and products. Furthermore, the SWRDICI strive for grabbing the commanding heights in fields of C1 chemicals, gas separation and energy-saving and environmental protection, for enhancing her core competitiveness by commercializing its patented technologies so as to provide support for development of China’s energy, resource, environment industry as well as economical development.
