Recently, a 40000 Nm3/h LNG plant from COG methanation, based on proprietary technology of the SWRDICI, has been started up successfully by one commissioning and quality LNG product has been produced. The owner of the plant is Xuzhou Dongxing Energy Company Limited. It’s the 5th plant that has been successfully started up by one commissioning, based on proprietary technology of coke oven gas methanation to produce nature gas of the SWRDICI. The success of the five plants is the full proof for advancement and reliability of technology of coke oven gas methanation to produce nature gas from the SWRDICI.
The LNG plant, with total investment of 600 million Yuan, adopted proprietary technology of coke oven gas purification and methantion developed by the SWRDICI, as well as Ultra fine cleaning agent, methanation catalysts and key equipments: methanttion reactors supplied by the SWRDICI. In methantion unit of the LNG plant, the length from temperature rise to yielding quality methane product is about 19 hours and CO2 content in outlet is about 6 ppm, methane content about 72%. The plant has been started up successfully by one commissioning and every performance indicator meets the designed value. The methantion unit is characteristic of simple operation, small recycle ratio, low comprehensive energy consumption, free of Ammonia synthsis side effect, high performance of catalyst and high conversion (methanation conversion of CO and CO2 up to 99.99%).
The owner of the LNG plant and the EPC contractor pay high rise on the job we have done during stage of engineering, start-up and technical service and send the SWRDICI thank letter immediately after successfully starting up the plant.
