On December 29th, 2015, the 500 ton per year methanation catalyst production plant has received completion approval from China National Chemical Corporation on the plant’s completion evaluation. With the plant going into operation, SWRDICI’s proprietary methanation catalysts is fully industrialized.
The completion evaluation meeting brought together leaderships from Planning & Development Departments of both China National Chemical Corporation and China Haohua Chemical Corporation. Officials from the project supervision company, the construction company and SWRDICI also attended the meeting. At the meeting, Mr. Wang Xiaodong, the party secretary and VP of SWRDICI, had given an overview of the implementation of the project. Mr. Liao Hongtao the VP of HaoHua (Chengdu) Technology, has given a presentation on the profile, approval, construction process, engineering design and construction, commissioning and assessment, final accounts and audits, environmental safety and fire safety, economic analysis, etc of the project. Officials from the project supervision company and the construction company had also given reports on the implementation of the project during the meeting.
The completion inspection committee carried out on-site inspections of each monomer project. Based on the operation of the plant, the committee had arrived at the conclusion that the plant was safe in design and reliable in operation. The performance indicators of the plant showed all processes has met their design criteria. Product quality was stable. Products produced in trial production phase showed strong sales number and the investment for the first phase of the project was nearly recovered. Environmental protection, fire, safety, occupational health facilities were reasonable and complete, in accordance with the “three simultaneous” requirement for project construction. Monitoring system was in place. Engineering technical files were complete, systematic and true. The project was in line with the relevant regulations of China National Chemical Corporation. An approval for completion and acceptance of the project was issued.
