On 25th June, patents examiner Ms. Yang Xiujuan, together with her four colleagues from State intellectual property office of the P.R.C. paid a visit to SWRDICI for survey on patent work.
Mr. Wang Xiaodong, the vice general manager of SWRDICI, discussed and communicated with patents Examiners on questions concerning patent application. Mr. Wang Dajun, vice director of Department of Science &Technology and Planning make presentation to visitors on SWRDICI briefing, key work, progresses and achievements on intellectual property in recent years. On the afternoon of the same day, a conference of communication on patent was held in training hall. More than 40 researchers from labs who wrote patents to protect their achievements attended the conference. During the conference, the patent examiners introduced the process of patent application, granting and patent analysis, as well as answered question from these researchers.
Ms. Yang Xiujuan, the patent examiners said: “via direct communication with researchers from enterprise, our ability on reply to patent examine comments, patent digging, and evasion of infringement, etc. will be improved. Meanwhile, it will help researchers to better understand the protection for invention and creation from patent law. As the result, both the quantity and quality of patent will be enhanced.”
