On April 1st, the economic and information technology bureau of Meishan city, Sichuan province organized experts to conduct a review on the “Green Chemical Industry Development Plan of Meishan City (2019-2025)” prepared by the SWRDICI. The relevant leaders of the chemical industry department of the Sichuan economics and information technology bureau attended the meeting. Chen jian, executive director of SWRDICI, led the members of the planning team to attend the review meeting.
The preparation of the “Green Chemical Industry Development Plan of Meishan City (2019-2025)” was started in October 2018 and lasted for half a year. The SWRDICI has extensively investigated the status and advantages of chemical industry development in Meishan City, and deeply analyzed the green development and upgrading of the chemical industry and the opportunities and challenges brought by the integration of Chengdu and Meishan to the Meishan's chemical industry. On this basis, the development of new chemical materials, fine chemicals and natural gas chemical industry as three major directions of green chemical industry in Meishan city is put forward. The plan was in accordance with the “Sichuan Green Chemical Industry Cultivation Plan” and the “3135” strategic deployment of Meishan city, and had guiding significance for Meishan green chemical industry to achieve the industrial development goal of 50 billion yuan and the industrial high-quality development.
The planning team had extensively collected opinions and suggestions from various industrial parks, chemical enterprises and related departments in Meishan city. So that the plan was of high operability with detailed data, completed content, clear goal and proper measures.
