Brief introduction
The material α-pyrrolidone is a colorless, polar solvent with a high boiling point and an intermediate for organic synthesis. It is used mainly as a raw material for synthesizing resin, pesticides, polyols, printing ink, coating, and iodic solvent, and for producing polyvinylpyrrolidone, nylon-4, γ-reanal, and piracetam.
Technical features
Under pressurization and at a high temperature, γ-butyrolactone, and liquid ammonia solution, synthetically produce α-pyrrolidone, after deamination, dehydration, and rectification of the reactants. The α-pyrrolidone content is at least 96 percent. The amination reaction uses a liquid-phase, continuous tank process, where the productive capacity is large and energy consumption low.
