Brief introduction
N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) is a powerful general-purpose solvent with a high boiling point and a very strong dissolvent for cellulose and polymers. It is also an important raw material for organic chemical synthesis, widely applied in the pharmaceutical, pesticide, petrochemical, textile, and synthetic leather industries.
Technical features
The methyl formate obtained through methanol dehydrogenation takes continuous amination reaction with anhydrous dimethylamine and, after dealcoholization, dehydration and rectification of the resulting liquid, produces DMF. It causes no corrosion, has lower cost, and is a simpler operation than the esterification process, and has lower cost than the one-step process.

Waste treatment
Hydrogen byproduct can be used directly as fuel or used as a raw material for hydrogenation after PSA purification. The liquid residue of rectification containing DMF is incinerated in a centralized way.
