Brief introduction
N-methyl formamide is an important organic solvent and raw material for organic chemical synthesis, used mainly to synthesize high-performance, broad-spectrum pesticides, miticide-formamidine, amitraze, and other new pesticides. It may also be used as a substitute for N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) solvent.
Technical features
Methyl formate obtained through methanol dehydrogenation takes a continuous amination reaction with anhydrous methylamine and, after dealcoholization, dehydration, and rectification of the liquid reaction, the result is N-methyl formamide.

Wast treatment
Hydrogen byproduct can be used directly as fuel or for other purposes, after PSA purification, with the liquid residue of rectification containing N-methyl formamide incinerated.
