Brief introduction
Hydrogen is mainly used in the chemical, oil refining, metallurgical, and electronics industries. It can greatly reduce costs, recover CO2, and obtain a food-grade product, as opposed to producing hydrogen through the electrolysis of water.
We hold two patents on the technology, which, in 2007, took third place for S&T progress in Sichuan province and we provide the high-quality, special-purpose catalyst needed for producing hydrogen through methanol cracking.
Technical features and capacity
Methanol and water perform the cracking through gasification and catalysis, in one operation, producing a mixed gas with ~74 percent (v/v) hydrogen and ~24 percent (v/v) CO2, then, PSA technology is used to separate this gas mixture to produce pure hydrogen. The hydrogen yield ranges from 88 percent to 92 percent, with a hydrogen purity range of 99.9 percent to 99.999 percent (v/v). The hydrogen pressure range is 0.5~2.2MPa (no compressor is needed). The byproduct, CO2, can be used as a food additive, tobacco bulking agent, and welding shield gas.
This process produces no pollution, is easy to operate, and has low energy consumption.
Capacity: 10~10000Nm3/h H2
