CN-35 light oil steam reforming catalyst is applicable in which hydrogen, ammonia syngas, methanol syngas, carbonyl syngas or metallurgical reducing gas is produced from naphtha, liquefied gas, refinery tail gas and other hydrocarbons in a shell and tube reformer. It is usually packed in the upper part of the reformer tube.
1. Good activity and stability
In the upper part of the reformer tube, hydrocarbons higher than C2 are cracked into CHX, and hydrocarbon steam reforming reaction takes place. It prevents higher hydrocarbons from entering the high-temperature bed in the lower part where they would be thermally cracked to generate carbon deposition. During long-term use, its activity is stable.
2. Good resistance against carbon deposition
Potash, magnesium oxide and other alkaline substances are used as anti-carbon deposition assistants to inhibit carbon deposition reaction, promote carbon elimination reaction and prevent carbon deposition on catalyst surfaces and bed space. Potash assistant exists in the catalyst in the form of potassium aluminosilicate. The release rate of potassium is moderate and can ensure a sufficient service life.
3. Good mechanical strength and stable structure
The catalyst has initial mechanical strength and a stable structure during long-term use. Reasonable pore distribution makes for dispersion of reactants.
4. Good reducibility and activation and regeneration ability
The catalyst can be reduced when the inlet temperature of the reformer is higher than 480℃.
After the catalyst is mildly poisoned by sulfur or chlorine or is oxidized, it can be activated and regenerated in the reformer.
5. A wide range of applicable raw materials
It is applicable to naphtha, liquefied gas, refinery tail gas, oil field gas and other raw materials with an FBP of below 180℃.

Plastic bags are used as inner packages. Iron drums or rigid plastic drums are used as outer packages.
During storage, the catalyst should be kept from damp, frost and contamination. It should be handled with care.
