CN-36-2 thermal protection catalyst is a heat-resistant thermal protecting agent prepared by a high-temperature sintering method, with a little amount of nickel as the active component and aluminum oxide as the carrier. It is used with CN-36-1 as a thermal protecting agent at the top of 2-stage reformers of large and medium ammonia plants. Its use is adaptable to a specific operating environment and conditions at the top of 2-stage reformers and resistant against high temperatures and airflow washout.
Thermal protection: It can be used at 1350℃ for a long time. The structure is stable during use at high temperatures. It can endure a violent impact. At 1450℃, it will not melt into blocks. It has good resistance against quick heating and cooling. Stable structure and mechanical strength: The catalyst has an optimal cellular structure, which is stable to ensure a sufficient service life.
