Methanol (CH3OH) is used as a basic organic chemical raw material. It is used in chemicals, pharmaceuticals and pesticide industries and can be used as fuel. From methanol, more than one hundred chemical products could be manufactured.
Industrial methanol accords with national standards (GB338-2004)

On packaging containers of industrial methanol products, firm marks should be painted to maintain clean and dry containers that are sealed.
Methanol should be stored in a dry, cool and ventilate location away from sunlight, heat and fire.
Methanol is a colorless inflammable liquid with a flash point of 8℃, and a spontaneous ignition temperature of 436℃. The volume fraction of methanol steam within the explosion range in the air is 6-36.5 percent.
