Methanol Production and Application Technology (former Methanol and Formaldehyde) is China’s first journal to give special attention to the methanol industry. It mainly covers production processes, technical R&D, technical improvements, monographs, commentary, industrial trends, and the market state of methanol, formaldehyde, and downstream products.

 

The journal is sponsored by the Chemical Industry’s Southwest Research & Design Institute, with help from the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Assoc’s Methanol Committee. A great deal of additional support since 2010 has come from China’s many large methanol enterprises, such as CNOOC Kingboard Chemical Ltd, the Sinopec Karamay Petrochemical Co, Hubei Yihua Chemical Industry Co, Ltd, the Jiangsu SOPO Chemical Co, Ltd, and the Shendong Tianlong Group Co, Ltd, Changqing Oilfield, Methanol Plant of Tuha Oilfield, Dushanzi Ethylene, Hebi Baoma Group, Gansu Juyin Chemical Co, Ltd, Heilongjiang Chemical Group, Yankuang Guohong Chemical Co, Ltd, and Lunan Chemical Fertilizer Plant.
